Srikant scanned the document in his hands for the second time, his frustration mounting with each word. With an irritated sigh, he threw the paper back onto the desk, then grabbed the letter that had accompanied it. His frown deepened as he read the contents, the words seemingly fueling the fire of his irritation. "Maadarchod saale," he muttered under his breath before crumpling the letter and tossing it aside like it had personally offended him.

The sound of footsteps drew his attention briefly, but he didn't bother looking up. Ratnesh entered the room quietly, his calm demeanor contrasting starkly with Srikant's visible annoyance. Without a word, Ratnesh sank into the chair opposite his brother, his posture relaxed yet deliberate, as though silently demanding an explanation for the storm cloud over Srikant's head.
